Ken’s solid wood artistry is a long standing passion of his. Mastering wooden chessboards and enjoying articulating his artistic vision with cord wood sculpture, he has an avid following of distributors and returning customers across the United States. Having been in the woodworking trade for ten years Ken has excelled in intuitive and intrinsic designs. He has produced custom wood furniture in Vermont to clients’ specification while at times utilizing multiple hardwoods in one single piece.

While training in custom design furniture he branched out into making chessboards and chess tables. This endeavor grew out of his interest in the game of chess and has since expanded into the design and production of other pieces.
Although originally from England he has been a resident of Woodstock for thirty years. His interests include road cycling, soccer, chess, cross-country skiing and gardening. If you happen to be in the area in July you’ll find him in the raspberry patch enjoying the season.
